Nestled within the vibrant city of San Francisco lies a haven of natural beauty: the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Spread across 55 acres of meticulously curated landscapes, this enchanting garden is a paradise for both flora enthusiasts and photographers alike.
With its diverse collection of over 8,000 plant species from around the world, the Botanical Garden offers a stunning backdrop for any photo shoot. From the colorful blooms of the Magnolia Dell to the serene tranquility of the Ancient Plant Garden, every corner unveils a new opportunity for captivating imagery. The garden's meticulously maintained paths and open spaces offer both intimate settings and grand vistas. With its ever-changing seasonal displays, there's always something new to discover and capture in every frame.
Let's plan to meet by the North Entrance. There is limited parking on MLK Drive and additional parking on Stow Lake/Blue Heron Drive. There is also museum parking by the California Academy of Science for a fee. I am usually onsite 15-30 minutes before a shoot. Please arrive photo ready, the shot starts and ends at the agreed time. Due to scheduling I am not able to accomodate staying later due to late arrivals. Build in extra time to traffic delays, fashion emergencies, and parking disasters.
