How do you photograph weddings?
Wedding photography is all about capturing the important moments and emotions of the day. As a wedding photographer in San Francisco, I have the opportunity to capture some of the most beautiful weddings in the Bay Area. From the first look to the exchange of vows, each moment is special and deserves to be captured in beautiful photos. I approach each wedding with an eye for detail and a passion for capturing the vibrant colors and emotions of the day. My goal is to create a collection of photographs that tell the story of the wedding day and capture the joy and excitement of the newlyweds. With over 6 years of experience photographing weddings, I have had the privilege of capturing some truly special moments. I am honored to be able to capture such important moments in people's lives and I strive to provide my clients with beautiful, timeless photographs that they will cherish for years to come.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in San Francisco and love shooting weddings all over the bay area but I am always looking for the opportunity to travel!
When will we get our photos?
Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 4 weeks, sometimes less depending on the season. You can download all the photos from your gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and also order prints!
How many pictures will we receive?
For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 500 to 700 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity. I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
Do you deliver every image your take?
I do not. After your big day, I will go through all of your pictures eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that are not up to my standard. For example, I like to capture moments of laughter, tears and genuine emotion however sometimes these may yield some unflattering expressions. I will cull these out so that you only have pictures were you look fabulous.
Do I need a second shooter?
Second shooters are a fantastic idea. They have the unique opportunity to step back from photographing the key moments and look for the artistic shots or a different angle. However, sometimes you don't necessarily need a second shooter. If you are planning a small and intimate wedding or an elopement, a second shooter may not be necessary.
How many hours of coverage do I need?
I typically recommend the number of hours be based on how many elements of your wedding you want included in your story. I find that 8-hours gives most couples a complete wedding story from getting ready to dancing the night away. Let's schedule a call and discuss what your wedding story includes.
Do you deliver RAW files?
Just like a painter would not deliver and unfinished painting or a culinary artist would not serve a raw unseasoned stake, a photographer would not deliver unedited / unfinished images. My work is not complete until a photograph is edited to my standard.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes! During a wedding I always carried 2-3 cameras with me and have multiple lenses that I can switch to in the event of equipment failure.
Are you insured?
Photography by Vee Inc. is licensed and carries liability insurance. Please let me know if your venue will require insurance. I will be happy to provide proof if needed.
Do you have a backup plan if you have an emergency on the day of our wedding?
While you can not always plan for the unexpected. If something were to happen on your wedding day, I would do my absolute best to find a substitute photographer. I have a network of photographers that I have worked with in the past, but I can also tap into my extended network. I would still edit your photos and deliver the images.
